Baseball Players and Families
Eagle Nazarene has a community garden that is used to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to families in need as well as the local food banks. Don Hopper, who is in charge of the garden, reached out to see if some of the boys would be willing to help put the garden “to bed” for the winter. The plan is to meet at the Eagle Nazarene (1001 W. State Street Eagle 83616) this Saturday, October 23rd, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to work on digging out the old plants, creating burn piles, as well as moving some of the irrigation for the garden.
This will be a huge blessing to the church/community as well as great way to teach our boys the importance of selflessness and serving others, so we are hoping for a good turnout. We will provide pizza for lunch so please let me know as soon as possible if your son will be attending so we can plan accordingly.
We have parents that have signed up to join in the fun as well so jump in and meet some new baseball families.
