This week the Charger football team came just as strong as last week with another phenominal 62-0 victory against the Wendell Trojans. The boys came out guns blazing in the first quarter with a quick lead of 22-0. By halftime the team had asserted their dominance over the Trojans with a score of 43-0. Coming back ready to cement their victory, the boys finished the third quarter 55-0 and the final score of the game, after taking a knee, was 62-0.
Senior Brady Frame scored the first touchdown on a pass from Sophomore Carter Fortin, who threw all three of his touchdown passes to Brady. Other scores in the game were two rushing touchdowns from senior Garret Kranz, two rushing touchdowns from Junior Anthony Hill, and one 50 yard rushing touchdown from Senior Obi Gee, who was on the sidelines hurt for a majority of the game. Freshman Ryan Golenor also scored on a rushing touchdown. The boys defense was unmatched, resulting in another shutout game.
Come out and cheer on the boys as they take the road to play Fruitland this Friday night at 7 pm! Go Chargers!
