Sophomore JD Jordan competed strong in the third swimming meet of the season against Boise High School. He lead off the first race of the meet as the 50 backstroker on the 200 medley relay, where his team of Jordan, Hobson, Cox and Demars finished 4th overall. He was a member of the A 200 freestyle relay that placed 2nd behind a strong Boise High team, with teammates Smith, Bollwinkel, and Hobson all contributing to a great finish for the Meridian team. Jordan competed individually in the 100 fly, finishing 4th in the field behind teammate Bryant Cox. Jordan's debut in the 100 backstroke earned him a 5th place finish, with a new best time of 1:16.80.
The team is back in action next Saturday, September 22nd at the Nampa Invitational. The meet is scheduled to start at 9:00am at Nampa Recreation Center.
