The Lady Chargers (9-3) played the Vision Charter Eagles Thursday night. In the first half of the game, the Chargers struggled with their energy levels yet remained ahead. Carley Grooms scored three times within the remaining two minutes of half, adding six points. The score going into halftime was 20-13, Chargers lead.
During third quarter, the girls fought back and gained a large lead over the Eagles. Sam Wind hit a few jumpers, while Jayden Hagar and Grace Wingard repeatedly stole the ball and converted the turnovers into points. The game ended, 50-20, Chargers’ victory.
Emma Boyette, Grace Wingard, and Sam Wind all had 5+ points in the second half. Boer, Wester, and Hagar also contributed.
