Last Saturday, the Girls’ Varsity team played in New Plymouth and defeated the Pilgrims. Veeck, Fraas, and Cooke all contributed to the Chargers’ first quarter score of 10-5. In the second quarter, Krogh knocked down three three-pointers, energizing the team. Cooke and Fraas also added points. The score at half was 26-12, Chargers.
The rest of the game continued in the same way first half had gone. At the end of third, the score was 35-23, with the Chargers still in the lead. Despite an large number of fouls called in the fourth, the Chargers prevailed, winning 50-34.
Fraas, Veeck, Krogh, and Cooke all lead with over ten points each.
