The boys suffered a tragic loss to the Nampa Christian Trojans on Saturday night, with a final score of 21-35. The game started out close, with a 0-0 first quarter, and a tie 7-7 in the second, our first touchdown being scored on a pass from Sophomore Carter Fortin to Senior Brady Frame, who would go on to score the remainder of the touchdowns for the Chargers in this game. Before the quarter ended though, the Trojans took a lead they would never lose, with a score of 7-14 to end the half. In the second half, the Trojans came back and took a bigger lead. When it felt as though all hope was lost, the boys gave one last surge of strength lead by Frame, scoring 2 touchdowns, and recovering an onside kick, giving us another chance at scoring. But sadly, the momentum shifted again, with help from the refs, and the Trojans scored one more time, brining the final score of the game to 21-35. The boys left everything they had on the field, fighting till the very end to get back into the game.
Come cheer on the boys in their last home game, and support the seniors on their senior night (yay seniors!) and watch them snag a win against the Marsing Mustangs!! 7 o’clock, Friday, October 18 @ Eagle High School.
